"For the anon that asked about my headcanons for Falco’s parents: here you go. Because I keep seeing people discuss and debate what Falco’s breed of bird is, either the green/vietnamese pheasant, or the red throated caracara falcon, I figured he’d be a hybrid instead.

Both parents are native to Zoness. Ruby is a typical citizen, very loving but stubborn. She fell for a falcon–air force pilot for Zoness–and had an affair with him, to only later find out that he’s married and did not intend to divorce. His ugly side also started to show and he was rather manipulative, abusive and had a horrid temper. So when the pollution crisis hit, Ruby ran away to Corneria, baby Falco in her arms. She picked up a fake surname as well. Lombardi. That way no one from Zoness could trace her, especially Falco’s father.

Falco never got to meet his father, doesn’t know the falcon’s name and he also doesn’t care to know. Once his mother passed away due to the pollution that effected her badly, he considered himself an orphan.

If you’re wondering where Falco get’s his colors from, the male counterpart to the vietnamese pheasant are literally blue and red. So he’s a good even mix of both parents.

Btw, I never picked out his father’s name. And Falco does have a half sibling that’s a sister who’s also an ace pilot. She and her father fought alongside Star Fox, unknowing that Falco was part of their family line."
