The ideal of snakes with feathers comes from one of my cloase friends who is a famous natural science anchor in China.
The purpose of this transformation is to reduce the terror of snake to outsiders.

They are familiar snakes for people in the South of China.
But it is also one of the most misunderstood ones.

They are accused of being extremely poisonous and kills many people.
But the truth is, although their venom is poisonous enough, they only inject a little of them every bite.
The resolution is that healthy adults usually can't be killed by them.
And they like to live in evergreen broad-leaved forest on the hillside,which make them hard to be encoutered with humans.

Due to the misunderstanding,some local governments kill them every year to achieve "prevention" effect.Their numbers are decreasing fast.If we don't take any effort to lessen the misunderstanding,they will disappear in the future.

The captive-bred indivisuals are now famous pet amoung Chinese reptile keepers.Though they are gentle enough to be bred,they are still poisonous snakes.It's recommended for the expert to keep them.
