Did this last year. Wasn't quiiiiite happy with it. Meh. So I put it aside.
Dragged it out like a week ago, shaded the rocks on the far left, added some white paint marker (my new toy :D), and voila.
Inspired by a pic I saw in the paper one day depicting runoff from a rainstorm leaking through a stone wall onto the nearby sidewalk at dusk. The headlights of passing cars were reflected on the ground.
So I focused on a mini section of that pic, and thought of Shari standing under the waterfalls. ^^

Wonderful pic, love all the action and the colors. It almost looks like an abstract piece, but Shari ties the image together.
I don't think she's supposed to be there, though. I'm betting her parents will be very upset with her getting soaked in her clothing-- and with such filthy water. But she doesn't care.

This reminds me of my trip to Vanuatu. Terrific waterfalls. Except standing under them was painfull, since the water was in freefall for about 30m. Made a good photo.
Me: "Hey! Take a shot of me under the waterfAAAAAAAAHOHGODITHURTS!"
Cameraperson: "Smile! I said [i]smile![/i"

For some reason, water was something I always found problematic to render accurately.
It's also one of the things I enjoy portraying the most.
Took me a lot of annoyance before I got to where I could do it to my own satisfaction.
Of course, discovering gouache was a big turning point for me. ^^
