It appears as if enough time has passed to where both Cree and Nella have fully merged. Both of them exist as one individual with two consciousnesses. It seems Cree has grown accustomed to her life with Nella, and being what could be considered a living suit.

Cree would eventually discover that by pulling others inside of her, she would be able to obtain a copy of their memories and abilities for as long as she has them within her body. This also becomes Cree’s method of feeding. She can pull food into her body in order to absorb it. However, she gains the most sustenance by pulling living beings into her and feeding off of their essence.

Animals and simpler creatures are eventually just absorbed over time. Humans and other more complex beings with greater mental presence could eventually be absorbed and merged into Cree’s consciousness, causing her to have another within her. In effect, this could lead to a sort of ‘collective’.

Cree, however, would also be able to take one of the extra consciousnesses and personalities within her and, if she chose to, ‘give birth’ to them again. The former being would be reborn as another living suit monster girl/boy, but manage to retain the personality that they had. However, they would retain a connection to Cree & Nella, and view them as their mother, as well as any other ‘child’ of Cree as their sibling.
