OC Profile - Cicely Centispider (James and the Giant Peach)

The littlest Trotter in the Peachstone, Cicely is the daughter of Miss Spider and Mr. Centipede. Having been born of two celebrity parents, she’s been in the spotlight her entire life, and knows how to flaunt the cute-little-bug girl routine like a charm. With smart talk and sad caterpillar eyes, she can get about anything she wants. The only people she can’t walk all over are her parents, Ladybug, and Mr. Grasshopper - they tend to cater to her whim but never let her get too far out of line.

When James moved out to get a degree in writing, the bugs were stuck in an empty nest. The now married Spider and Centipede rather spontaneously announced the were gonna have kids, which they had talked about before but were previously unsure of. Despite the doubts of Ladybug and Grasshopper, they did manage to manage to make one hybrid egg, which hatched into Cicely. Her parents adore her and entertained her with stories of their adventures, some more far-fetched than others. These stories gave young Cicely the desire to become an adventurer. She enjoys sword fighting, treasure hunting, seafaring, making traps, and all matter of epic explorer-detective type things. Spider wishes her daughter would be more realistic while Centipede is A-okay with whatever his kid gets into.

Trivia:
-Besides climbing up walls, her most spidery characteristics are her ability to make web and sew. Or at least - attempt to sew. Also her spider silk comes out her mouth, so Spider likes teaching her sewing at home rather than in public.
-Her teeth are extra sharp. As a baby she bit off Centipede’s antenna (he says he’s proud of his girl’s got such a bite, though).
-Cicely has two accents - one a soft, slightly-French-sounding English accent and the other a sharp Brooklyn accent. The latter only comes out when she’s mad, but it’s there none the less.
-Cicely thinks peaches are gross. She brings dishonor on her family.
