A month ago, I celebrated my one year anniversary here on FA. Since then, I got to thinking about how I've come to meet up with some of the great friends I now talk to and/or collaborate with on a regular basis around here.
The other night, I was sharing with my wife about how much I've greatly enjoyed working in conjunction with nishi and how I came to initially meet up with him. This brought her to look over at me and say, "Hey, do you like Oxnard? I like Oxnard, too! Let's be friends!"
As simplistic as this sounds, this pretty much sums up how I came to first acquaint myself with nishi. Furthermore, for such a simple meeting point, who'd have thought we'd get to where we would be writing tales that feature each other's characters in the way we are doing now?
This just goes to show you how the simplist of shared interests can spark the greatest of friendships. :)

Hehe, somehow I'm always surprised by how fast time goes by. 8D It doesn't feel like our first back-and-forth chats back in November were far away at all! Or that so much has happened since then, even though a ton has! :D I'm really glad that were were able to meet up and become pals! Finding someone with just one similar interest can lead to a lot of cool things! I have no idea what I'd be doing if it weren't for all your inspiration and encouragement. :3 And it's always fun talkin' to ya too. Woop woop! Hurray for Hamtaro - bringing more people closer together! :D
