I headcanon Queen Griddle as secretly self-conscious, insecure and anxious, hence why she needs to cope by being constantly praised and having her whims satisfied, and why she gets angry offensed or sorrowful in the blink of an eye. When young Griddle had anxiety attacks, the only person she seeked comfort to was Sir Herman, he was the only one allowed to know that secret of hers. I accidently made him sound like a jerk but I swear he is concerned, he's just very laid back in my HC
