One of the most striking vistas from my road trip across the American Southwest, West Coast, and Pacific Northwest.
I tried to get close to the dome at Mt. St Helens, but wasn't able to. It was a spectacular drive anyway.
The car is a 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata.

Yep a lot of great places to see here in the Northwest... Next time you will need to hit the 101 Coast Highway

A few places to hit on 101 Astoria OR, Tillamook Or, Newport Or, Reedsport, OR

I've covered all of 101 down to Reedsport, OR... Nice way to relax traveling 101 in Washington and Oregon.

I have not been that far south, I know there are some breath taking places on the Olympic Peninsula and Oregon Coast. The bridge across the Columbia River at Astoria is not for the faint of heart in a storm...
