You shooouuuuuulllddd. I'd be hype to see what you do with a canvas lol. Buy a bunch of like, 'student' level acrylics and some cheapie canvases. The student level stuff is good to learn with and pretty affordable tbh. If you're in the US, Michael's craft store always has some coupon or other to knock more off initial cost for testing out new mediums. /art supply nerding done/
