I would've rather seen them do a sonic fast and the furious crossover but that's just me. The fact that apparently they're going to make him look more like a man wearing a hedgehog suit just horrifies me. Apparently they're giving it a realistic hedgehog phase. Did they learn nothing. After all these years of one badly done videogame movie after another????I figure Transformers would've at least taught them not to stray too for our from the source material

The sine qua non condition to watch those films, is to deposit your brain at the entrance of the theater. That's what I did, and I totally enjoyed them. My favorite scene? Transformers 4, when Michael Bay made an electric tramway explode like it was the Hiddenburg zeppelin. My Neighbors must have thought I was crazy for laughing so hard during a serious battle.

do I need to show a picture of the auto bot logo, which has been on each of my vehicles over 15 years? I've seen each of the Transformers movies. My whole point is Michael Bay did so much wrong without any reason for doing it. The guy didn't even want to do the movies in the first place is what the whole insult to injury is he literally referred to them as those stupid robots and wasn't interested in being involved in the project tell people Pile money at his feet. Making a bad Star Wars movie. Guess what Star Wars fans will still go see it!!!!. You know how much more money they would've made with Transformers. If the property was handled properly and closer to the original source material? The solo movie made money, but not nearly as much as the studio was banking on. I actually liked the idea of Bobo Fett movie but solo screwed that.I went to see the solo movie. It wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, but there was just so much wrong with it. It was like they were trying to pass off Star Wars fans. I was waiting to see William Shatner Mankin the parents with old middle finger raised as a cameo. I'm not a hard-core Star Wars fan, and I also like Star Trek, nor am I a hard-core Transformers fan, I just fully big knowledge when somebody takes something and openly takes a huge dump on it. What you think would happen if the next Harry Potter movie Harry Potter has become sexually confused and decided to have a sex change and that's just for starters. Do you realize the outrage there'd be? If you're going to do a sonic the hedgehog booby there's things you can do and there's things you flat out don't do! Look at the way they handled the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles admittedly they get a few things were not happy with but in general it's actually not bad giving one of the Turtles classes was just a little bit stupid but we put up with those kind of things. There's screwing with a established property. Then there's outright eating a box of Ex-Lax, dropping your pants and Buffalo dumping all over it. I'm not even a big sonic fan, and the poster immediately made me grind my teeth. Did you see the proof of concept that somebody submitted to Sega nearly 3 years ago for the idea of doing a live sonic movie. It's not a joke. A small studio literally submitted a 2 min. draft project film and Sony was happy with it. This is so firm from that little piece of material. It's not even funny. One of the weird things was the concept film had the theme from Ghostbusters in part of it which I don't understand sonic was a CGI overlay and with a bit of tweaking like they did with the detective Pikachu movie. It would've been fine. Look at how are the duck in the latest Marvel movies it still looks enough like a character from the comics that there's not a problem and it works just fine. They could've easily done. Sonic in the exact same style and it would've been fine. They made Howard extremely realistic in the Guardian's films and still The big guys. They did give him a god damn mallard duck head and he did require a name tag for fans to recognize him.
There's no excuse to make such a huge change to a established character they party proven that point multiple times with similar characters in other films that were live-action the ninja turtles. They change the style but not enough to make them unrecognizable. Same with detective Pikachu guardians of the galaxy is another example, look what And with in humans? They strayed so far from the source material. Everybody went screw this and walked away. There are not going to suddenly have Spiderman running around in a pink spider suit with a to to or next year, he suddenly come out with a cybernetic eye and giant chrome robot arms. There is a point in changing a established product and then there's a point and totally wrecking it for everybody,jen the movie the female Ghostbusters. Do I need to continue the list??? I figured between jam in the last Ghostbusters movie and solo that they would've learned by now you can't change something so much that it's going to completely anger the existing fan base. There are so many things they could've done with sonic that I would really be too upset about, but completely destroying the look of the character is on excusable. He's been roughly the same visually and every comic book videogame and cartoon for how many years? We've Artie had new Coke and we know that didn't work. We don't need to reinvent the 12 herbs and spices at KSC. We don't need to reinvent the wheel. There is a particular way. Sonic should appear in a film live-action or otherwise think about how well-received detective Pikachu would be and he looked like a raccoon painted yellow? I was literally concerned that they were going to go in that direction of painting a raccoon yellow with brown stripes. They made the character look organic and at the same time still resemble the original source material. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Do you realize the kind of money they'd make if somebody decided to do a big-budget live Transformers movie where the majority of the characters closer resemble their animated counterparts? It was always ridiculous bumblebee is a bloody yellow Camaro. Why would the character even be called bumblebee? It just made no sense. I think there was literally a scene in the original Transformers where they called him bumblebee because he was a yellow Volkswagen and it was the name somebody slapped on him. Admittedly, later on in the Transformers. They started calling the character Golden bug which was a bad thing on the part of the writers name change never did make sense. I understand them doing stuff like not wanting to have a six-inch tape deck transform into a 20 foot high robot although admittedly they could throw some science fiction. The explanation at that but I understand where they're coming from but there's no excuse to have made the Transformers all look like . Freaky alien blob monsters. Not to mention Michael Bay not wanting anything to do with observing the original material, that created the product. Don't get me started with his attitude about female Transformers! It's a miracle, even optimist prime was recognizable given Michael Bay's attitude. I think he's the only character out of the entire franchise that even remotely resembles his animated form. Name one other transformer that looked anything like the original series even Megatron was drastically changed . Visually and don't get me started on optimist prime's ridiculous paint job, being a all blue truck would've been fine didn't even have a problem with the model of transport truck. But Jesus the flames are just hideous and ridiculous and for absolutely no reason in the second last movie where he's finally got the opportunity to get a new paint job, he goes right back to blue with screaming flames. They could've made the character black, orange, or any number of other colors, but those flames just completely make the truck look ridiculous. Flames on most vehicles to that extent. Just don't look good. If you want to be particular, they shouldn't have even called the character bumblebee. It should've been tracks tracks was a Chevy Firebird in the original Transformers cartoon.

You know what? Same for me! I'm not a gamer, and frankly I don't care at all about the Sonic characters - apart from a few female I like the design like Sally Acorn. But this poster made me think about this, and since it was relatively easy to do, and since it's been a long time I did not post anything, I thought it was an occasion to do so...
Everybody his own attractive stuff, I do not judge. Many, many people grew up with Sonic, so I understand even if I don't like it myself, the same way Grendizer, Thunderbirds and the likes made me the way I am.
And amongst all those, there will be the comic artists, animators and directors of tomorrow, those who will fight for what we like (few adults are monomaniac like we are when we are kids, and amongst them probably none are able to get a job in this industy for obvious reasons) we should never forget that.

J'ai beaucoup aimé ces deux films malgré quelques incohérences flagrantes (ah, le coup de la créature extraterrestre qui ressemble et agit comme un cobra - c'est vrai que la première réaction face à un organisme inconnu qui a une attitude relativement menaçante - ou tout du moins de défense, c'est de s'en approcher pour lui faire gouzi-gouzi.......................), il n'y a qu'une seule chose que je leur reproche : c'est de vouloir être des préquelles d'Alien. Le Space Jockey du premier film et son vaisseau doivent rester des mystères, et de toutes manières il y a trop de choses qui ne collent pas.
Mais si on considère ces deux films comme des films totalement indépendants de la série Alien, alors ce sont de très bons films.

Il a Super Mario Bros le film live, Mortal Kombat : Destruction finale, Food fight (Toy Story raté)...
Prometheus et Alien Covenant ont le mérite de montré que Ridley Scott est un bon réalisateur de pub et un bon "faiseur" mais qu'il fait de la merde dés qu'il doit décider de tous les aspect d'un film.

I see why I did not understand what you wrote at first, this just does not make any sense to me. Everybody is free to like what he/she wants, without having to be pointed out or mocked for this. And even more when it is an artist who does terrific fanarts out of it - and is far from doing only Sonic stuff, so you can't say there is an obsession/mental issue. I have been moved and inspired many times by her drawings. I may have a bit of miscommunication with her, but I respect her profundly nonetheless.
If her works annoy you, there is something very simple you can do: do not look at them.

I'm bashing her because she got me involved in a shitstorm which made me delete all my stuff and all art I got from other artists, because I dared to call her character stupid. It was a generic MLP pony-dragon hybrid that ate dragons, because she's an edgelord. She's also involved with Orochi, one of the shittiest artists out there, who can't draw without adding his stupid fursona into pics who's a recolored King of Fighters boss with a bunny head.
After daring to do that, her "fans" (people who like her because she's a female on the internet) were hypocrite and insulted my stuff as unoriginal. Then they threatened to expose me on certain online cyber-bullying platforms, and since I didn't have a fandom to back me up, I got scared.
I constantly remind her of how much I hate her and her art and she doesn't even know why.
Thankfully, I've met tons of people who had similar experiences, where bullied by her or were just annoyed how much of an asshole she was/ is.
But all my old art is lost now. I can't repost it or that scum appears again to haunt me, can't draw my old characters because I'd accuse myself of being as unoriginal as her and I don't know if the artists who drew for me would even allow it.

I am glad to told me about your problems so I am aware of your story through your own point of view, but past that the grudge you have against her is personal between the two of you (and some other added people it seems), as long as I am not involved personnally. Which I think is the case here.

ugh, I've been seeing this poster making the rounds and the more I see it, the more I hope it's just a joke by the movie studio, and the real Sonic is going to look completely different in the actual movie. I mean I know all we've seen so far is the silhouette but it's easy to see already that this design is just going to look...creepy :/
