I bought this Washburn M1S-A mandolin as a gift for my daughter-in-law. But I couldn’t resist the urge to take a few photos before wrapping it up. Chrome lover that I am, a shot of the tailpiece was required.

It looks like a real master in making instruments put it together. It's a really clean design with a lot of attention to detail. :)

Washburn is a good, respectable manufacturer. I had one of their electric guitars some years ago and can say that their customer service is excellent. This mando is a very nice one, for sure.

Good customer service is how you know you have a keeper. Even the best things get a little worn sometimes. :)
