At last, the first prize of the raffle I held on Deviantart. This is a drawing for Dukurow ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/2kur0w/ ) who asked me to draw his character Gryphon (he usually wears a beak-like mask over those scars, hence the name) in a destroyed lab, walking towards the viewer with bloodied claws.
I have no idea what the context of the drawing is, by the way, but it was really fun to work on it! I don't draw lions (except once before, maybe), so it was an interesting change from my usual routine.

Wow! This lion looks serious! He also reminds me a main hero of the "Around the world in 80 days with Willy Fog", the Spanish-Japan animated series from 80-s. Fog wore a dressing gown just like this) I see that is a costume, not a dressing gown) Also, if you haven't seen the series, I highly recommend it to you. As well as French animated series "Argai" - a fantasy-sci-fi story about a prince (yeah, a lion too) who tries to save his girl from evil witch. Time travels, magic and dystopia are included!
