And here we go! Took me a while but I have finally caught up with the last winner of the Art Raffle before we start a new one. This is Aashild, brought to us by the lovely Colydos. One of my earliest followers so very grateful for that.

We are still in the early stages of blocking out all of her wonderful shapes, starting off with her luscious mane and horns. I try to push something new in each of these raffles to bring me out of my comfort zone and improve as an artist. This time I am focusing on those strands of fur along the shoulders. I like to keep designs fairly simple and clean, I am just not a big fan of a lot of fur detail, it just gets a bit too distracting. But at times you got someone like Aashild here, who is nice and fluffy, so you have to convey that fluff somehow. I think the two stands of fur there look quite nice. But the problem with 3d is that you have t worry about all angles, and currently the sides aren't looking so great.
