So I fancied yet another stab at drawing a wolf... This is Torak, the wolf Lutien's family adopted for me as a birthday present. He lives near Reading at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust. The picture is courtesy of 
tigertom who kindly allowed me to use the photo as reference. Vain attempts at a background too.

Maybe one of your best wolf pictures. This looks absolutely great. The colors and the fur work really well together. And again, the animal looks so expressive.

I made him look a bit sad and apprehensive, but ears back doesn't necessarily mean that. They may be listening to something behind them, as you said. But if the ears are properly down and back, then it's either aggression or fear. But you would really have to look at the ears in context with the rest of the body.
I think I would have to agree with you that this is the best wolf I've drawn so far. So happy days! ^_^

I'm doing alright. My course is going smoothly at present, this month we're doing a psychology class which isn't as hectic as last month. It's very interesting. It's about character design. I'm enjoying it. :3

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your course! I did a bit of psychology at school and always found it very interesting. Lots of my friends are now psychologists, but have so far resisted giving me a psychoanalysis. (Although I do frequently think I should get my head checked...)
