This here is an image of a Badgerton legend, a story told among campfires. The Badger Muncher.
This beast stands at a height of 8-ft, eclipsing any normal badger easily in both height and girth. It is big, strong and hard to run away from. If those handpaws latch onto you, they're not letting go.
His belly is also enormous, enough to eclipse the light of anyone in his shadow. His fur incredibly thick. If one were to try and throw a punch, that gut would take the blow and hold onto your fist, incredibly hard to pull out of. And there, on the belly, is the abstract image of a badger face, hidden beneath the thick fur. A lure for badgers who get too curious. Sometimes, the Badger-Muncher will hide in a bush, exposing only the image, so a badger gets close enough, then springs to catch them. Works every time.
And his diet? Badgers. He loves gulping up those thick blubber balls. He'll comb around the forest, carrying a sack to dump badgers he finds into, then head on home and dump his catch into a pot, then fill the pot with gravy, turning the badgers into sandwiches.
Badger dip, anyone? :P
Of course, it's just a story. There's no such thing as a Badger Muncher in Badgerton, that would just be silly, right?
Right?
