Also, look up Albanach. They are a crazy bunch of Scott\Celts that play live, percussion based music, with a single piper. Their live recorded performance is way better than their CD's, in my opinion. Watch the live videos first.)
The music you referenced on YouTube is taken directly from bands like Albanach, who are faithful to the Highlander traditions. Granted, it's changed a bit, but the spirit is the same. They even paint themselves blue sometimes, lol.
Truly, she's lovely and I bet sweetly emotional in private. A wonderful character, to be sure.
