Circa 2013. Hilda is a former pirate of the Norton-Li clan. She was presumed dead after a clash with La Patrolo, the World Ocean Patrol, after which her life pod washed up on a deserted island. Realizing that no one would be looking for her or expecting her to come back, she set sail on a life unencumbered by obligations to her clan, getting by on phony but convincing passports. Everything was going well, until an exiled princess made her way on to Hilda's boat.
