It was a delight and an honor to draw their character whom I've admired for years.

It was a really unique learning experience and would have probably been easier in CSP (which I have yet to learn) than using SAI. I sectioned off each of the areas I wanted to paste the halftone pattern into and made it a clipping mask.
I also tried applying free-to-use watercolor textures to give the color an extra dimension for more of that 2D comic-book feel.
All in all I'd love to do this style again!
