It isn't all hypnosis and force-feeding with Sable and Lilac, They honestly care for each other and have a very cute, loving relationship!
To be honest, I've often toyed with Sable and Lilac's relationship... I've thought about dropping hints that Lilac isn't real, just a figment of Sable's imagination. Sable is then a very lonely, broken gator who overeats to deal with his depression, and a hypnotic snake creature is then a manifestation of his own self-destructive tendencies.
...I think that kind of sucks, though, first of all because it's incredibly mean to Sable who has done absolutely nothing wrong and doesn't deserve that kind of reality, and second of all because it's a really ham-fisted hyper-cynical edgelord plot twist. Sable represents the "true me" and since I've never been a big fan of my own self, my first instinct is to beat him up. I have to keep myself from piling misfortune onto him in some misguided attempt at therapy.
I do want to have SOMETHING wacky about Lilac though. Perhaps Sable, feeling super lonely and wanting to try anything, finds a summoning spell on the Internet to "summon a naga girlfriend". He doesn't believe it but hey, rather get a few minutes of entertainment out of it instead of crying himself to sleep, so he tries it... and summons a powerful demon naga from the realm beyond who then falls in love with the weak-willed, submissive gator.
Anyway, that's a whole lot of unnecessary background that probably would've been better in a story instead.

It's so nice to see you take it easier with Sable and yourself! Pardon the pun, but that's growth. Ahaha... anyways, I think that summoning story is really cute, you can really explore the dynamic and relationship progress of how a demon naga falls for the cute gator. I'd love to see the story someday, if that's what you're going with! ^w^ Or if you change it again. Any story you write is good.
