"...what's that sound?"
"It's the devil screaming..."
"It's an angel singing..."
"It's a hammer pounding on the anvil of creation by the gods..."
"....it's fucking awesome =D"

I know! It's got 107 songs so you'll find something you like and a customizable playlist. I mean,Jack Black,Ozzie Osborn,Lemmy Kilmister,Lita Ford, and Rob Halford, all this and Kyle Gass and Tim Curry at no extra cost to you! And the story's awesome!
(Ozzie, talking about the missile launcher) "Someone could do a lot of damage with that."
(Ozzie,on buying the missile launcher) "And that someone is you!"
Frankly,if you don't like Brutal Legend, you need to check yourself for a soul.

The music, the characters, the writing, the battle system, the totally awesome cameos... I just love this game so much =3 Only thing I thought was disappointing was that the game feels sorta short... Wish it was a bit longer... Hopefully Tim Schafer will get enough sales from the game to let him bring out Psychonauts 2 ^^
Yeah, but not everyone can get DLC for these games... Hell, the game's DLC will be minor missions and weapons/vehicles if any come out. There won't be any extra story content. My friend beat the game and is at this weird spot too, where he has 99% done in the game and collected everything (minus the art you unlock in multiplayer) with all the side missions done and it still has this one quest marker that does nothing =\ We totally don't get it at all.
Well, at least it didn't end with a cliffhanger like Psychonauts did.

To be fair,it's hardly a cliffhanger. Raz joined the Psychonauts and goes on missions with them. Really more an open ending than a cliffhanger.
As for the final marker,it's dual purpose. 1. It lets you know the main story's over. "For now!" And 2. It could be a place holder for newly released missions and like that. Live in hope. :D

I felt it was a cliffhanger... I mean, someone was classed as an actual threat and the Psychonauts were being summoned to save the day. They coulda followed up with Raz going on the adventure on his first day as being an official member. Well, we'll see what Shafer has in mind for Psychonauts 2 ^^
Hopefully... Leaving the mission finished except "for now" really is bothersome (in retrospect, I wonder why they didn't hold onto the game for a tad longer if they had more things to put in the game at that point... purposely leaving out a little of the idea and saving it for DLC is kinda a waste... Not as bad as say, Fallout 3 and the Broken Steel thing, but yeah). More so with how they just leave it on the bridge to nowhere like that.

The game was in development for 3 years. I'm pretty sure towards the end,EA wanted to get a product out. Plus,I'm pretty sure Tim didn't want it to end up like Duke Nukem Forever. ie,staying in development so long, the technology used to make it was outdated several times, leading to having to rebuild it from scratch over and over.
I did =C Once I heard Tim Schafer was making a game and basing it on metal, I was giddy for ever until it came out. Man, back when I lived in Bullhead with some friends, that's ALL we'd listen to. Relaxing, driving anywhere, grilling out at the lake at night... It was freakin' sweet =3
Right here, Metalhead since 2005. A year later, discover underground metal at Deathgasm Records. Another year later, Moribund Cult Records.Another year later, Hell's Headbangers! As a result from today, Guinness + Jagermeister + Exploitation Films + Babes + True Metal = MORSTIS KULL!
