Blargh, me and my reptiles. This hatchling (yes, he's only a month or so old, tops) was slithering around right outside my classroom door. Bad place for a snake, and it's getting cold early. I'm probably gonna hold on to him/her until it gets warmer out, probably the spring.
It's a hatchling San Diego Gopher Snake. They're fairly common in captivity, and can be pretty docile, even in the wild. As you can see, this lil one doesn't seem to mind me too much ^___^
