This is a silly thing I drew back in 2010 and finally decided to color.

...This poor guy is about to be in some seriously deep trouble. I imagine that this might be the way I go, eaten by giant bugs...

I had originally thought about doing a whole lot of black inkwork with color highlights on the Aliens in the foreground, as if they are all peeping out of a cave entrance at our hapless naturalist who is totally distracted by his latest discovery. Instead, I just kept it really simple with a minimally-highlighted wash. They're still dark, almost hidden, so that Mr. Distracted won't see 'em until it's too late.

Aliens: "Shhhhhhh! Don't giggle! He'll HEAR you!"
