The dual 9600GTs were about.. 40 dollars total.

The motherboard, ASUS Striker II Formula, I forget. Looks to be about 230 bucks.

The CPU, an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.67GHz processor, looks to go for around 200-300 bucks.

The internal harddrive, 750GB, went for around.. 70.

I think we got Vista Home Premium for about 30-50 bucks.

And my external 1TB harddrive went for about 100.

All the major parts combined, excluding other parts, like the Wireless card, power supply, and other various extentions.. $790 dollars.

For a computer of that caliber, that's cheap.

It does have fatal flaws though.

Our homebrewed air system was originally flawed to where the heatsinks would go over and beyond even average temperature standards. For example, something with the Velvet Assassin game.. It just drives the heatsink fucking mad. I still don't know why.

Another flaw: I'm wireless, and the second farthest away from the router. I'm also the most heavy user of said wireless.

So, it's not the best of situations.

Is there enough room for cooling fans? Sounds like that sucker could heat a room. Also, you should consider switching to a wired connection, more reliable.

We tossed in a new fan and fixed it.

And unfortunately, we've already tried wired. I'm too far away from the router to do so.
