My babies who I miss dreadfully.
Organizing photos, and came across these, so I thought I would share.
These guys were my love, my inspiration, and part of my family.
Oh, they are posing for these photos btw XD I cant remember what they were for, but I recall someone wanting a group shot, so I picked up each one and plonked him or her where they needed to be, with the offers of sweet sweet bread if they stayed put for my camera nonsense XD
All were rescues apart from Puddles (the white drake), Who was my first ever pet, his birthday is coming up this Christmas ;_;
The others are – Moccona and Cassy (the white chickens), Luna (brown chicken), Goolabrie (the goose), Puddles and barbs.
Ducks, chickens and Geese make the best pet/companions imaginable, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise ;D

hehe we kept them all as if they were our children :P i think we had close to 200 ducks and geese at one point. At night and when we weren't home they stayed in a pen but we would let them out to roam the 3 acre yard with our German Shepards(had to lock a few up since they got a bit rough at times ><).
I used to sit in the middle of the yard and they would come and all try to sit in my lap xD

Haha awww. Yea we did the "hatching and raising chickens on a special food diet" experiment for Agriculture class at school too. Thats where my 3 chickens came from. Moccona, was going to be put down the first day of her hatching. Her feet were mutilated and she was coughing up blood. But I took her home and tied matchstick parts to her toes to set the bones right and nursed her through her fits. She lived in my room untill she was well enough to go outside a month later. She lived a good few years happily then just passed away one night quietly, we dont think she had a very strong heart due to all her conditions, so it was expected sadly. The other two were going to be cooked for school dinner after the project was over, so I...took them home too >_>;;
awwwww!!! so cute! I lvoe chickens! they are so soft and there feathers are so cool and hot (like produce heat, not sexually hot >.>)
Also, I love to put them on my arm adn imagine them as little falcons... so cute! (I am sitting of course when I do it, so they are not hurt if they fall)
