A while ago I got one of those Revoltech Nick Wilde's, and I recently posed him in this way and thought.. I would just love to put some Artifact in his Hand.. something glowing.
I remembered a Tritium Rod I had a long time ago, ordered this Capsule but honestly didn't think it would fit in his hand. But boy does it ever.
Photography details:
Tritium Powered vials aren't all that powerful against normal room lighting, so I had to pretty much turn everything off except the light in the hallway. (adds a very dim warm light) And then I did a 10 second exposure.
My OLIGHT flashlight on "Moonlight" setting is just perfect to add some rimlight to the scene just by moving it around the object while the camera is capturing.
Other than the long exposure this image isn't edited. The Vial really does light up nicely in the dark.
CAMERA USED: Sony RX100 Mark V
EDIT: Reuploaded on 08 of December 2018 Resized in Photoshop instead of Irfanview

In reality, its Tritium, that's the slightly Radioactive variant of Hydrogen. Its encased in a glass capsule so its pretty safe. The radiation can't penetrate paper, nor skin.. nor the glass of the capsule.
it does however energize the layer of Phosphor on the inside of the vial, and so you can a very dim glow that lasts for around 10 years. (its half the intensity after 5)
Tritium vials (in smaller size) are actually used in some Clock faces for expensive wrist watches.
