I was chatting to some friends, and the topic got to Steven Universe, and it got me in the mood for a bit of character design. I made some gem characters of my own a long time ago, but they weren't very good and ended up looking nothing like the canon designs for their gem. So I started over with something closer to canon. :P
This is "Jade Pearl", and that's about all the thought I've put into story or anything. I just wanted to make a fun little design.

i mean most of your past designs were of gems we havnt seen even a slight design of so who knows XP (hopefully now we are on homeworld proper we will be seeing PLENTY of them :3 id actually like some kinda 'steven universe gemmology' book or something similar to journal 3 where it just goes into detail about various gem types maybe even showing off various fusions and such and giving just lots of designs for gem types and such x3)
