The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is the smallest large dog in the world! Once she assumed the mantle of Alpha, Pooh Bear realized that she could usually get what she wanted with a roll of the eye and the bearing a single fang. Only if that failed would she resort to the 'purse-mouthed command bark'.
Pooh was also the "Hide behind the chair, swear, stare and glare, I don't care so there, bear." She would lie behind my recliner and grumble if the other dogs were having too much fun.

Well, they were! When I initially started the story, it was only supposed to last for about a month, and the zebras were supposed to run off almost as soon as they left Kilbasa. But they stayed around for months, and I had to draw the main characters' mounts the same way over and over...
