It's pretty fun! The format is certainly different compared to the older games and I was quite skeptical about it early on, but once I started playing, it did well to keep me engaged and entertained and that's all I can really ask for in a pokemon game XD

Oh the partner pokemon really is just really one of the biggest highlights of the game ;w;. this Pikachu has continued to surprise me in various ways on how he interacts and reacts to different things, and it makes me hope the next core games will really utilize pokemon interaction further based on how the Let's Go partners plays. some aspects of it would def be worth maintaining in future games while other's could be better off remaining a quirk limited to it only.

I’m not gonna lie, I would instantly buy the game if it was possible to have Cubone or Skitty as the partner Pokemon. xP

I love being able to interact more with Pokemon in recent games; it’s more like building a team and bonding with them instead of just using them as tools.

Yeah, unfortunately by adding so much to Pikachu and Eevee, the Amie/Refresh is nonexistent which is kinda a bummer considering there's actually an exchange in which clicking your following pokemon has it express jealousy if you were just petting Eevee/Pikachu a lot. you're given the option to give them attention, but it isn't any detailed interaction, just says it was given and they're happy.
I'd hope in the next games they'd utilize detailed interactions for the rest of the pokemon or at least put Amie back into play and if they maintain the following system it'd be nice to access a new amie from talking with the pokemon you have following you. would really make it more meaningful and personal for sure. XD
