a new technique of panoramic shooting im trying, this is still a work in progress as you can tell where i have been working on merging the photos. this new technique should allow more print area while still covering a wide angle, the only thing that is hard t deal with is the distortion of the image in the foreground, but im working on it hopefully ill have the finished one up soon.

Instead of leaving the camera in a "landscape" view im turning it on its vertical to take many "portrait" style pictures im also taking one high set and one low set in the hopes of making a mosaic out of it thus making the film plane much bigger than it actually is. sounds easy at first but im learning that it can be a real pain in the tail in post processing but im gonna keep on trying my goal eventually is to make some thing that people will look at and feel like they are at that location. for now im practicing around town but eventually ill try things like Denali etc.
yeah there is no color correction at all yet do that after all my stitching is done and I have yet to meet an auto stitch program that will stitch a mosaic properly, especially with water in it for some reason. Maybe im missing some important points about auto stitching programs?
