This is a variation and improv based on a song called Mrs. Judge by Donna Long from the CD located at this link Celtic Treasure: The Legacy Of Turlough O'Carolan CD I had always wanted to find the sheet music for that song and after failing to find it I attempted to make a version I could play by ear. And as such things go I did a bit of my own thing too.
-- Info -- Originally recorded circa 1995 on my piano teachers Clavinova keyboard. It's very old obviously but this is how I started.
Enjoy and as always feedback is welcome.

*chuckles... I had an itchy ear... and never place yourself below others just because they have a name and rep... you re very good.
I tell the new writers the same thing - we are all writers together, it's just that some of us are more seasoned... in my case, I am very ahhhhhh... senior.
*smiles...

That's good advice. Thank you. I feel better about that. Sometimes I probably place myself way below others and that doesn't help my confidence as a musician or a writer. I see so many people whom I admire and wonder if I could ever write anything that enjoyable. Thank you again *bows*
you're most welcome - and the answer is: yes you could.
we all have a beginning. as it is, I've been at this perhaps close to 40 years off and on - seriously writing now for about 15 years.
it's all about practice - it's as simple as that. yes some people have a gift, but a gift still has to be refined. the edit process, for me, has become a large part of how I write.

I have a hard time getting from point A to point B when I write. It seems like I either get discouraged by how crappy I think my writing is going that I stop in the middle or I completely lose interest thinking that if I do something new and come back to it it will get easier. But it rarely ever does. In fact sometimes I forget what I was trying to write about if I stop and do something else. I've been trying to plan better because I guess that really helps some people.
everyone writes differently... you just have to find out how your way is...
I write from the inside out - no pre-planning because it simply does not work for me. I go in and watch, and simply write what I see.
another writer I know in here pre-plans her stories (she's a professional too) and then follows the script.
sooo... you just have to figure out what works for you.
*hugs...
