yay for happy endings. good one. I was never into track and field myself. Not a big sports nut used to play lacross, soccer, tennis and badminton. lost interest when things started to hurt all the time. I like it and it can be read at a fast pace. The poem itself seems to be running its own race so i think you really captured the event well. *hugs*
These days so do I. I like to watch motor cycle and car racing sometimes but thats about the lot. I was a race matial in New Zealand for a while so I guess not everything is boring. I can teach the younguns how to pass or kick a football, and stuff I know spots wise if I'm asked but try to avoid it these days.
