I don't have any of the packing handy but it is called craft foam, I thing a brand name is "fun foam" but I believe there are two or three companies that make it. It is a closed cell foam rubber formed in sheets about 2 to 3 mm thick. It can be cut with scissors or a hobby knife. White glue will hold it but a specializeed glue works best
