• Biography: Lumina is the holy matriarch of the continent of Gaia, being the continent’s original discoverer and founder. Originally a pure human being, her ship ended up caught in a storm set forth from the continent of Magvel and just as she was about to pass through it, her ship was struck by a lightning bolt, destroying it entirely. Fortunately, Lumina survived, but badly injured. She soon came across a strange stone and made for it, needing to heal herself. Upon touching it though, Lumina felt a change in her DNA. The void of what of her humanity was replaced with slime girl DNA, but the most of it became that of a genie’s. With this newfound power, Lumina was brought back from the brink, and upon seeing the continent in shambles, she immediately decided to set the land right and become its goddess due to fears that her impurity would be looked down upon her fellow man. However, these fears were unjustified as once word reached that Lumina was alive and well, people flocked to Gaia, they were relieved to see she was alive and well, but upon learning of her new status as a goddess, it was also decided that they follow her as such. However, this would not come right away as Lumina first needed to shape Gaia into a bountiful land. To this end, she magically infused her human and slime DNA into 4 new beings. Pyra, the Aspect of Fire whose spirit burns with a playful passion, but whose temper matches the fury of dragons when angered. Hydra, the Aspect of Water whose playful demeanor is that of the most playful of dolphins, yet has no love for those who would dirty the waters. Ryuusa, the Aspect of the Earth who embodies the patience and fury of the land itself. And Aeola, the Aspect of Air whose gentle breath calms all who are present in its range, but blows with the fury of a Hurricane and Tornado combined should she be angered in some way. With her four aspects born to the right age, she sent them forth on one mission in mind: Shape Gaia into a hospitable and inhabitable land. Pyra. With her mighty arms of flame, she molded out rivers and lakes of fire, carving the land to create its borders and ranges. Hydra. With her mastery over the sea, she created lakes and rivers where fish are plentiful, and the water is always clean. Ryuusa. Taking the lands of Pyra, she raised mountains, created the deserts, and balanced out the barren with the healthy. Working with Hydra’s waters, forests and jungles took root. Swamps were born, and marshes became plentiful. Aeola. With her gentle breath, the seeds of the forests and jungle scattered across the continent, paving the way for newer, greener pastures, stabilizing the continent. Their work finished, Lumina gave the continent the blessing of the light, in addition to a special power only those chosen can utilize: The Lumina Lines, whose powers can alter the land to their advantage, and her aspects left behind a special relic known as the Mana Crest to symbolize the work they have done. Much later on, to help balance its power, a Mana Tome, and a Mana Tiara was also created to further symbolize their work. Lumina was praised for the work she and her aspects had done and is now worshipped all across Gaia and continues to be so even during the Gaian War of Light & Shadow, in which Lumina helps the Gaia Alliance in all she can. As a goddess, Lumina is kind and benevolent to her people, but invoke her wrath at your own peril as she doesn’t take too kindly to those who upset her. She likes to get offerings, even in the form of custom made mud baths. If there’s one thing she hates, it’s blasphemy in her name, as seen in one chapter where an organization known as the Lightbound attempted to force the light of Lumina on others in her name. The end result was the Lightbound receiving divine punishment of the highest order from Lumina herself. The happiest when given offerings.
• Abilities: At first, Lumina was an ordinary human with no special powers, but once she became a goddess with the heritage that she now has, she gained a huge number of powers beyond comprehension. These include the art of Magical DNA Infusion, which she used to create her children the elemental aspects. As a master of the art, she has the choice to have her children start out fully grown or let them grow on their own. Due to this, she does not need a mate to procreate with, and even so, she often chooses not to have a mate. Her slime DNA lets her turn any part of her body into sticky slime to ensnare people and potentially absorb them. This is her method of blessing other people with her powers when the time arises. Her Genie DNA enables a good deal of magical potential, but it also enables her to grant wishes. However, as far as that is concerned, her rules are like those of the Dragon of Love Porunga. She can grant 3 wishes, and as far as revival is concerned, she can revive multiple people at once, but she can revive them as many times as needed. But once she’s granted 3 wishes, one must wait for the next day to come to get more. Nonetheless, she can’t kill anybody via wishing, or make anybody fall in love with anybody else. She also has a good number of magical dances she’s often happy to teach and has a good number of forms that go with these dances, too. With each offering made to her, she grows stronger.
