Eternal self portrait as artisan dragon^^
doodle I did today.
This is how Eternal would look like if he would visit the dimension of Spyro as an Artisan Dragon
Spyro reignited trilogy belongs to Activision

thanks much *bows deeply*
As for a potential dialogue... hm... good question
What about this?
"Thank you for releasing me, Spyro. After you have toasted this evil Gnasty Gnorc, please come back soon. I want to be the first to sketch your victorious smile"

hehe thanks
but Eternal do not derserve this compliment, for him appearing different and not entirely fitting into the dimension is something he has in common with fairy folk in European folklore.
I learned from an old book that fairies and other spiritual being in nature originally have no bodies, but if they want to deal with mortals, they try to adapt to their conditions, but some details allways are off.
The most common "error" in their shapeshifting are the pointed ears we all know on elven people

daww humblest thanks *bows deeply lifting hat*
character designer was once a dream of mine when I still was young but fate turned me into a different direction.
But nontheless I am a huge Spyro fan and many designs of the new dragons are allready close to my own likes, that is why I am hyped so much about this game^^

Wow, you looks so good as Artisan dragon, bud. Nice touch the fluffy wings and the fluffy end of the tail. The same for the blue feather on the hat
Hehe, even if you're in different form, I'm sure that you like to draw feet and tickle scenes. Maybe of the other Artisan Dragons
Anyway, well done representation of you as dragon

I imagine that for this particular incarnation there might have been some inspiration from Fafnir as Eternal's look as an artisan dragon is somewhat reminiscent of him and then there's the other touches that we're familiar with from other incarnations, the characteristic red eyes as well as the black-feathered wings that he's also manifested, even the beard and moustache in some of his human-looking forms and the blue crystal pendant he's also worn. He'd be very suited as well for the role of an artisan dragon as being an artist, and I would imagine in this dimension his magic perhaps works in a similar way to Macha's, focused through his sketching and perhaps here he's about to perform such magic for Spyro as reward for freeing him from the crystal.
I think Spyro probably senses something unusual about this particular artisan dragon, perhaps that aside from being a rather distinguished and handsome dragon with some unusual features he also seemed to have been tied up and gagged securely and wouldn't really give a reason for that. Though I wonder if now he's found his freedom if Eternal might look for that Gnorc artist and perhaps see if he can teach him to improve his artistic skills even if it means he has to get himself captured again though the awful art might prove a torturous experience.

hehe thankies me Lord^^
But to be honest, appearing in different shapes is one of Eternal´s very own skills. For he as embodyment of the emptyness can appear as any creature he wants to be, but he can be allways located easily for those who take a closer look, because in his design there are allways details that frame him and his true self
