A civilianized AK-74 type carbine that takes single-stack 5 and ten round magazines only. In caliber 5.45 x 39mm Combloc. Reloading options, though possible, are somewhat limited. Factory ammo is inexpensive, but not Walmart-able. Added a Romanian milsurp PSL type scope on the side rail. Sling is East German DDR issue. . Stock was unfinished, so I applied several coats of Minwax varnish. A nice plinker, but recoil seems a bit stout. So a recoil buffer was recently installed. Have taken this out varminting too.
