Rohastu is something observed by many zen Buddhists. It's about a week, depending on where and who you talk to, when our meditation and overall practice in the faith is intensified. Where I practice this becomes all day meditation where no brakes are allowed (unless it's an emergancy or other ligit reason) and often people who don't practice will bring us water through the day.
