Face to Face With A Predator
'You have no idea how it happened. You were just trying to take a vacation, get away from it all. When you woke up this morning, and prepared to go hiking in the forest, you had no idea it would turn into a flight for survival. Now here you are, running from...something as it chases you down. You never even got the chance to get a look at it as you were running, and when you finally stop and hide in a bush, hearing your own quieted breathing and your heart pounding with fear and exertion in your chest, you think you're safe as the adrenaline starts to wear off.. Until you hear a low growling behind you, causing you to slowly turn around...and stare right into the glowing blue eyes of a feral manticore, mere centimeters from your face. while it's scorpion tail hovers above you in an attack position.'
Boy was this a fun commission to get. I got this I don't even know how long ago, but damn was it worth it! It turned out even better than I was expecting, too! The level of detail on Ariana's eyes are simply amazing. Sorry for the lack of tags though. Wasn't sure what all tags would apply to such a close up like this.
