Boys and girls meet Ignatius the gryphon. Also known as Iggs. Iggs here is a decent guy. But he tends to be fairly unemotional most of the time and logical. He's not the best of people persons. Iggs is also a pretty smart guy. Loves to read. He's read a lot of book. Novels and educational books of all sorts. He tends not to try and get too attached to people. Iggs is not quite what he seems. He may look like he's 16 but he's really far older. When he was young Iggs was often very ill. His parents studied in both science and various magical arts. They combined the too to try and help their son. An experiment was done to make him well and give him a long life. It worked pretty well. However not quite as intended. This was done when Iggs was 13. His aging slowed over the years and stopped completely at about the age of 16. But he's never been sick a day since. His parents however suffered the reverse. Time for them flowed faster and within a few weeks they grew old and died. His parents' lives where cut short and his was lengthened to immortality it seems. Iggs is now 1526 something years old. This is partly why he avoids getting attached to people and dedicates himself to learning. Carrying on his parents persuite of knowledge all be it at a slower and safer pace. He does make friends with some furrs who he knows will be long lived. Some dragons for example. Iggs has some stress in his long life and well his way to relax is to sometimes indulge in babyfur stuff. Usually he's always got some aspect of that more secretive part of himself on his person. Normally that means slightly padded briefs with patterns at them.
