Vandar yawns as he rolls out of bed at 4 PM.
He peers out the window at the colors of autumn.
The shades of orange, red, and yellow brings warmth to a chilly day.
“Autumn didn’t last very long.” He mumbles to himself.
Soon enough, a blanket of white snow will cover up the beauty of fall.
He pours himself a mix of coffee and cocoa into his travel mug.
“I might as well go out and enjoy the weather while I still can.”
Vandar’s back yard goes on for acres. He throws on a sweater
and takes a stroll down his pesonal hiking trail.
As he sits down on a bench, he takes a deep breath and sighs.
A slow sip of his coffee cocoa breaks the silence as he watches
a family of birds fly south for the winter.
