This was something I did a couple Thanksgivings ago when I was sitting bored in bed, simply to amuse myself (I wasn't trying to make a polished animation at all).
I didn't do keyframes for it, just animated through it frame by frame on the default 12fps in Flash, so it's not even the right format or anything. that's also why in the beginning he kind of doesn't fit the words because I was basically warming up.
Anyhow, this is actually Daingu, one of my Kitsu characters. He is missing his spikes because that is probably the last thing I would go and add in. But it's him, and that's his default voice: Jim Sturgess.
No I probably won't ever finish it. I came back to work on it some more and it just didn't match at all. So no more for him.
Song is "Across the Universe" by Jim Sturgess for the film, Across the Universe.

nice! Animal mouths are the hardest to sync up, lol, but I love what you've done. If you haven't tried it out already, look up a program called Magpie. You can plug in your song and it'll give you different mouth shapes that you can put in at key points. It takes a while and it's sort of mundane work and you'll look like a loon sitting in front of the computer, making faces at it, but it helps out a bunch with mouth shapes at key points in an animation. I'm not aware of any animal mouths, but I'm sure they're out there!
Also, love the head tilt at the end. Very dramatic!
