MSTR.litamacwolf (I will be VERY happy if I've finally typed that right on the first try) commissioned a porn piece three weeks ago but, lo, there were some issues of the heart and it was not to be so she asked if I would draw something more sad/somber. I thought it over (I don't like drawing sad commissions as I don't like to enable wallowing, also they age poorly and the commissioner always regrets getting them) and agreed as long as I could make it something somber and ABSOLUTELY did not involve self harm (people who want to try to get me to draw this: NOPE). All parties agreed and, upon seeing Lita wasn't in the stream where I was working on the piece I decided to don my "Fiction Suit" (a term coined by Grant Morrison that I rather like) and decided to hop on into the 2-dimensional realm in order to spend time with a friend who was feeling down.

I don't feel like it's "ruining the magic" to refer to it as a "fiction suit" as it's 1) entirely true and 2) being said by a 30 year old man. "Playing pretend" is far less endearing when you're my age and I find the idea of being able to don the vaunted Fiction Suit in order to emotionally communicate via the canvas across the globe is an incredible thing. Please don't lecture me about it/you; I can assure you wholeheartedly that I do not care.

That being said: my ploy worked and Lita seemed quite cheered up by my appearance in the art realm; which is all I really wanted.
