So I have been seeing people draw, Cynder (and discourse of her damn colors), Ignitus, Volteer, Cyril, Terrador, Ember, and Red in the Reignited artstyle or at least have a more probable design for reignited (because the style is hard, Nicholas Kole teach us the way). So I decided to draw Malefor in a more probable Reignited design. Which I can safely say while designing him was fun, coloring and fixing some anatomy wasn't... I had both a screenshot of the in game model and the concept art and they were basically conflicting with each other in anatomy and coloring. So I basically said "fuck it, I'll only get close enough with both of them have the world's worse shading issue".

Great job on the redesign, he looks great. I used to draw Malefor fairly often but I hated his anatomy, like what's going on with his shoulder spike things?? The double spikes along his spine?? HIS WINGS? hell if I know. But this looks really good. Recognizable as Malefor but quite reasonable in terms of color and features. Kudos.

Oh yeah, a complete mess. Seeing him animated in the cutscenes was somewhat tolerable but he was on thin ice. Ngl my version of him was much more handsome than he is in the game. Like all his colors are just sorta. Muddy and blending together in DotD, I tried to make his colors slightly more distinct. Like in this thing from 2013. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/29664411/ I still left off a lot from his design but he's recognizable enough.

Yeah your version is better to look at than the actual final result in game. Though this is coming from the person who has the PS2 copy (aka the worse version) and used the concept art to make the Reignited doodle above.
With your version I can definitely say is a lot better considering I couldn't see that much on both in game model and concept art.
