Kino Akitori is an odd woman. She once was the daughter of a wealthy japanese style mafia boss.

One day a rival organization set fire to the boss' home, which at the time Kino also lived in.

Well, Kino was the only survivor of the house fire. She once was a beautiful woman, too, until the fire horribly scarred her face.

She now wears a mask to hide her real face.

But on the night that her family was lost as was her beauty her mind snapped. Her anger twisted beyond what it even should be possible of and gave her control of the undead. Thus the undead princess was born. But also due to her mind snapping despite her horribly disfigured face and the mask hiding her face she still thinks of herself as a very beautiful woman.
