Smäl is... something of a opportunistic consumer when it comes to obtaining the energy needed to sustain her forms. She will quite often bond with someone she deems powerful enough to deal with the drain she causes, slowly corrupting both her form and the host's form as she consumes more and more of their life force, but in turn allows those she bonds with to gain access to power beyond imagination. All they need to do is consume enough soul power to offset her hunger.
