Still need to get a nice timely work flow going so I can bang artwork out to the point I can start taking commissions again, post Windows to Linux switch. Also I want to push Tamias the Chipmunk really hard on action poses. So I did this drawing of Tamias in a battle posture. Perhaps he is vigorously protecting something farther down the cobble stone road. Maybe that road leads to the chipmunk kingdom. Anyway I am getting the hang of Krita though I need to work on speed and efficiency. I want to be able to slam out artwork like this in less than a day. However as for GIMP. It will take some time for me wrestle it under my control. The User interface is not as polished as Adobe Photoshop. But I am not spending up to thousand dollars a year for a CC subscription nor can I run it under LInux without WINE. GIMP is the best Photoshop equivalent. I will need to learn GIMP. But until then I am putting Gimp to use in exporting images to finished web friendly sizes and formats.
