Let's say he doesn't take it quite well.
He didn't join the horde with the burning of Teldrassil, grieves with Lunena and even tries to persuade her to hide somewhere together until things get better.
Unfortunately, Lunena is determined to avenge for her home and all the innocence that fell, she refuses Rymar's idea and left him to join the Alliance on taking back Darkshore.
Being left behind makes Rymar felt very hurt and lost.
