Poor Diana. She seems to have a knack for getting thrown into strange situations far from home. She does make quite a fetching mermaid, though, and I really like how the jewel-like decorations on her tail match the gem at her throat. The rather sassy pose is a nice touch, too, and it shows off her magic ring to really nice effect. It's a great picture and a fun idea and I'm looking forward to seeing where she might go from here!
Oh indeed, though the jewels on her tail gave me a really good story idea, one I hope to develop on my off time while I work on getting my brain back in proper order! The jewels I theorized have magical properties, and when removed can be used in magical cures and potions, but if done improperly the magic is lost, and doing so regardless, is not good for the mermaid in question.... :)
