Sewing plushies is quite far from my usual sewing routine. And while I'm not particularly proud of this plush, I figured I should post it just so that you can track my progress as I practice. This is not my pattern, however. It's a simplicity pattern I found on ebay. Once I get a better understanding of how these patterns work, I intend on making my own plush patterns and providing tutorials.

This elephant WAS supposed to be a pressent for a friend's baby when he is born, but I don't feel it's worthy to give to her for her son. It's not baby safe, as it was handsewn. Not to mention I used stretch fabric as it's all I had on hand. He's more or less a practice test run. Once I get the chance, I plan to go to Jo Anns and get some lovely fleece to make into plushies.

Oh! And it's a little hard to see, but he has hand-embroidered green eyes. Not my best work. ^^; But I tried
