That is an absolutely gorgeous example of WWII aircraft!

Hmm, I wonder if there will ever be any furry artwork on a modern military airplane.. ^..^

Story for you. Terrie Smith (this was before we did HAVOC, INC.) was approached by an Air Force wing about using Chester, her ringtail, as a squadron mascot. She turned it down due to copyright concerns.

My father, retired USAF, would cringe at the thought of that happening.

Did they have a clue as to Chester's sexual orientation? I find it odd that the USAF would request such a thing.

Nice shot. I'm pretty familiar with a great many planes from the WWII but this one I'm not. Do you have any further information on it?

Yes it is wonderfully restored but it's only half the job if the girl can't take to the skies anymore.

Well, I know they have a P-40 aand a Mitchell which are airworthy. I shot the later at a local air show a year back, but they had it apart for maaintenance when I visited the museum.

That would be a cool place to check out but Texas is a bit of a trip for me since I'm way up in western Canada.
