History

-Infancy-
Corbyn was born to a harsh world, from the moment he hatched he was alone, an infant springing to life from an egg in a valley with nobody around and no mother or father to receive a warming embrace from which suggested he was either abandoned or his family had died. Exploring around the area yielded no favorable results as he didn't stumble upon any family, the blue stained green grass was all that he found which led his curious child mind to follow the line due to the scent as rain began to drizzle and sprinkle with clouds forming overhead, his childish curiosity proved to be a big mistake as he came upon a Primordial Beast.

The creature had paused, dropping a corpse that was half eaten onto the ground and turned to face Corbyn, violently it lashed out at the young Minccino and before he knew it blood sprayed as his left shoulder had blood drawn from it causing Corbyn to fall back and cry and the weather began to turn rainy and stormy. The injury was luckily only a flesh wound but the beast was not done, looking to make a meal out of the infant it leaped up over Corbyn ready to give a killing crunch but as if some sort of miracle the beast was struck by a random bolt of lightning from the storm gravely wounding it and causing it to crash land on the ground not too far from Corbyn.

Startled and in pain the beast began limping away leaving Corbyn in a lightly injured state and continued crying for several minutes as rain poured and thunder raged around. Eventually Corbyn had gotten to a point that he slowed his crying despite the bleeding and sniffed a scent leading him to moving over to the corpse. A beautiful looking Pikachu with blue markings on the upper half and the lower half missing staining the grass in blue. Instinctively Corbyn snuggled against the torso of the corpse and fell asleep feeling a mother's presence and helping to forget the bleeding and pain as he felt safe.

Corbyn had spent a few days here being unable to drink or eat which made him weaker and weaker due to no way to get food on his own or find water sticking by the same spot and not going much distance from it. Completely de-hydrated and unable to move as he lost all his strength but luckily a pair of Glowchu had been walking by the area and stumbled upon him and the corpse. Retrieving him and feeding him water before taking him to an orphanage in order to have him nursed back to health and nourished where the caretakers would give him the full name Corbyn Yanasi.

-Childhood-
Corbyn would then spend twelve years of his life growing up in the orphanage, usually being a target of bullies that picked on him for one reason or another and being called "weak" and "wimp" and having things taken from him and getting beat up if he resisted. Due to this Corbyn began to develop a desire to get strong and began practicing in secret trying to use moves to attack a tree to measure his progress and observed some Pokemon in order to try and learn from visual and when the time came he once again confronted his usual bullies and managed beat one before being ganged up on by the others and was beaten senseless until a caretaker had discovered the scuffle and broke it up having Corbyn sent to the infirmary.

This experience didn't hurt his spirit but rather made him desire to be even stronger as he got right back into his training regime aiming to beat anyone who piked on him though an unforeseen event would lead him on a journey. One day a massive earthquake hit without warming while he was at his usual spot and when it was all over he returned to find not only the orphanage but the entire surrounding area in ruins. Debris, bodies and suffering Pokemon Corbyn would find when hurrying and searching through the damage including finding the very caretaker who found him as an infant with an object impaling her stomach bleeding out.

Try as he might to help her she passed in mere minutes leaving words to help the others which he looked for and pulled only a few badly injured from the rubble including the very bully he beat who apologized to him. Another he pulled from the rubble was a female Glowchu named Gale who had crushed legs with him needing to carry her and within a few hours was only able to save five kids as they rest were dead. Knowing he was the only one in any shape to help the group Corbyn had took on the role of caretaker and provide for them and when they had recovered well enough it was decided they would stick as a group looking after one another as no adults were around.

-Teenage Years-
Corbyn had journeyed with the group running into many misadventures and dangerous situations while looking for food and water and would do whatever it took to survive together for five years and during this time Corbyn had honed his skills and learned even more through observing and practice while unknown to him in the background Gale had been watching him with feelings deepening for him ever since he saved her from the rubble and carried her.Despite their best efforts certain events along the way claimed the lives of a few of the group, what started as six had gone down to three due to the harshness of the world and how tough it could be.

Around the age of seventeen the second crises in his life had occurred when the three had come upon a village that seemed to be abandoned and while initially looking around they decided to camp out and possibly make this a home of sorts as it had water, food and plenty of resources. Even had a variety of colored paint messily spread around the buildings like decorations. Spending a few days here seemed normal and uneventful but a few days into this they were greeted by three members of the infamous void clan who expressed shock to see a "glowchu" still alive in the village and immediately sprung in to attack the three without warning.

It was clear now the colored paint on the houses wasn't paint at all, it was blood from all the glowchu inhabitants who were attacked by the void clan and slaughtered and now a few had returned most likely to grab some resources. With this the three teenagers were assaulted hard and despite putting up a decent fight would be overpowered after inflicting decent damage on the three Pokemon. Corbyn would watch in shock as his former bully friend had been held by the neck and then mercilessly had his throat slashed out by a shadow claw causing him to die within moments with him and Gale having been unable to do anything about it.

In response Corbyn lashed out angrily and beat the Weavile down after blindsiding him with an Iron Tail and during this he would be jumped by the other two which reminded him heavily of when he was ganged up on by the bullies almost like a cruel rhyme of events. Receiving slash marks on various points of his body and despite putting up a good fight would be put down bleeding on his knees. This was the pivotal moment, Corbyn trying to stand after the damages he had taken from the homicidal Void Clan Pokemon and one walking up to him, claw raised, the glow of it's Shadow Claw move activating as Corbyn would look up glaring and seeing it swiped down at him.

Light blue blood flung everywhere including on his face causing him to widen his eyes seeing standing in front of him was Gale having stepped in the way to shield him from the killing blow. The claw was stopped just shy of his face, a hole in her chest opened from the impact, retracting their claw as she slowly fell back into his arms gasping as he clutched her in his arms. Giving a faint smile and lift her paw to his placing a headband she had made for him before her eyes had slowly closed never being able to express that she loved him as her life faded to the sounds of the two clan members making remarks about that taking care of the glowchu scum.

Slowly lowered her head on the ground clutching the headband in his paw, tears formed and flowed down his cheeks as he wrapped the bandanna around his head and glared daggers towards the two who further remarked that he had the "genes" and needed to be taken care of too. What happened next was a battle of sheer determination, anger and will as Corbyn made the best use of his speed and striking power to evade and attack in his fury somehow defeating both of them by himself despite any hits and damages he took being covered in wounds including a deep chest scar, bleeding from it and out of breath would sit next two his two deceased best friends being able to mutter nothing but "I wasn't strong enough..."

-Adulthood-
This event made Corbyn more determined then ever in the pursuit of strength spending eight years traveling all alone again slowly recuperating his battle scars and training to further his stats and abilities as he went from one village to another growing in experience and sometimes defending those being attacked. Throughout his wandering journey gaining the proper moves he felt most comfortable with and developing strategies until the current day with his travels bringing him to a kingdom of sorts in which he would decide to vacant himself in for a time among the Glowchu inhabitants...

* When in Combat, Corbyn prefers to take either the BajiQuan stance, the Hung gar stance or the Gong Bu stance when he fights suggesting he has studied martial arts.
* Corbyn isn't fond of vegetables and doesn't have much of a taste for them.
